Tenant Application
A tenant application used when a tenant agreed to a rent increase above the guideline in exchange for something (such as a new appliance or renovation) and believes the landlord did not do what was promised.
Tenants who signed an agreement to an above-guideline rent increase tied to specific work or items, where the promised work or items did not happen.
This is an application a tenant can file with the LTB.
Cautions and limits
Outcomes are never guaranteed — the LTB decides each case on its evidence.
Catalogue each item in your evidence index so nothing gets lost.
