Accessibility
People often reach this site during a housing crisis, on whatever device they have, sometimes using assistive technology. RTO Pro is built to work for as many people as possible — and to be honest about where we are on that path.
We design and build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and test with keyboard navigation and automated tools during development. We have not yet completed a formal third-party audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
That means: accessibility is a requirement in how this site is built, not an afterthought — but until an independent audit confirms it, we will not tell you the site is fully conformant. If something does not work for you, we want to know about it, and the feedback section below explains how to reach us.
Built in
These are concrete things the site does today, in its design system and its pages.
Being honest about gaps matters as much as listing strengths:
Accessibility includes the words. Legal processes are stressful enough without hard-to-read explanations, so our guidance content targets roughly a Grade 7–9 reading level: short sentences, everyday words, and legal terms explained the first time they appear. Where formal wording is unavoidable — as in the terms of use — we pair it with plain-language summaries.
If any part of this site is hard to use with your device, browser, or assistive technology, please tell us:
It helps if you can mention the page, what you were trying to do, and the technology you were using — but any report is useful. We commit to responding to accessibility feedback and to prioritizing fixes for barriers that block someone from using the platform, especially in emergency guidance and core tools.
Accessibility is not a one-time checklist. As new tools and pages are added, they are built against the same practices listed above, and this statement will be updated as the platform changes — including when a formal audit is completed.
